Important Information

Confirmation Deposit

Please confirm your reservation with a credit card or cheque. A payment of 50% of one nights stay is required on booking to hold the room. The balance is due on departure. Credit cards, cheques and cash are accepted. Please make cheques payable to ‘The Old Rectory’.

Cancellation Policy

If we are informed of cancellation by 5pm, 2 days prior to date of arrival there will be no payment due. In case of a ‘no show’ or a cancelled room after that time a payment of one nights stay will be charged.

Credit Cards

We accept all major credit cards.

Fire Safety

Our new fire alarm system complies with the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order of 2005, which all B&B owners must adhere to.

Pets

Unfortunately ‘Harvey’ our havanese doggie does not like sharing his house with other four legged friends.

Smoking

We have a no smoking policy in the house; however you are welcome to smoke at a designated place in the garden.

Children

We are sorry to say that the house is unsuitable for very young children. We therefore do not provide cots and highchairs.

Private Dinners

Although we don’t offer evening meals, we can offer the Conservatory for a special dinner party for 6 to 10 people. You could have a private dinner party for a special or secret occasion provide your own wine and let us do the rest.
